My name’s Mandie Carr, and I’m the founder and scientist/artist of Deep Green Creations. Trained as an ecologist/data nerd at a time when scientific information is both crucial and inaccessible for much of the public, I appreciate the power of a well-designed illustration to communicate abstract ideas. From infographics to maps to pen-and-ink illustrations, my visual creations have been featured in peer-reviewed publications, professional presentations, agency workshops, doctoral dissertations, osteological collections, and even the Albuquerque BioPark’s Reptile House.
